    <How to conduct the pre-auction inspection>

    <Note: About Melee>

    Items auctioned include Japanese antiques.
    We do not accept returns after purchase.
    Please evaluate and assess items during the pre-auction inspection period yourself, and then participate in the auction.

  • <Number of participants>

    Because the number of seats is limited, two seats are allocated to one company.
    ※Observers are allowed, however, seats are allocated first to participants.
    ※Please contact us in advance if you would like to become an observer.

    <Access>

    Only registered persons have access to the venue.
    Please be sure to bring both your business card and ID.
    ※If you want to bring someone, that person also needs to have both a business card and an ID.
    ※The same rule applies to those coming to observe the auction.

    A participant will receive a bidding paddle with a number at the reception on the day of the auction.
    ※At the auction, buyers are identified by their number plate. So, please hold the paddle up high.

    The auction will be held with an ascending price format using paddles or voice bids.
    The following method is used for auction units.

    Auction using purchase price per carat

    Starting prices are listed on the auction product list.
    In principle, an item is not auctioned by lowering the starting price.
    As a general rule, a bid may not be made by an agent.
    Please note that we do not accept any returns and cancellations after purchase.

  • When the auction is completed, a buyer will receive an invoice for purchased products.
    Please make the payment for the invoice amount by one of the following methods:

    Currencies that may be used: US dollar and Hong Kong dollar and Japanese yen

    1.Bank transfer (The transfer fee shall be a borne by buyers for both domestic transfers and transfers from overseas.) ※In the case of an overseas transfer, please check the transfer amount limit and the transfer fee yourself. ※Please be sure to write your paddle number and registered company name in the message or comment column for the payee.

    2.Cash ※We do not accept any returns and cancellations after purchase. ※We do not accept check payments in any currency. ※If you have paid a deposit, that amount is offset against the purchase price. ※Please remit the full purchase price within seven days after the purchase, and receive the item purchased at the designated place. ※If payment cannot be confirmed after the payment deadline, the transaction may be canceled. ※If payment is delayed for any reason, please contact us in advance.
